The history of Borsalino

Founded in 1857 by Giuseppe Borsalino in Alessandria, Italy, the Borsalino headgear still produces high quality hats for men and women. It is good to know that Borsalino lived seven years in Paris, France where he worked as an apprentice in a hat factory. It is there, moreover, that he obtains his training of hatter. The Borsalino company is experiencing its first crisis in the face of the rise of fascism in times of war. In 1992, the Gallo-Monticone family bought the family business to revive production. The new owners are targeting a younger clientele.
